Little Herberts

Recently visited Little Herbert’s for my daughters first haircut. The whole experience from the second we stepped in the salon was just wonderful. Jo and her team paid attention to any and every little detail and made sure everything went smoothly. Best money I’ve spent!! My daughter is asking for a haircut every second day! Brooke, our hairstylist, was beyond beautiful and made this anxious mumma feel heard and understood. She was so gentle with my little one as well. Thanks so much team! We can’t wait for our next haircuts!

We had the most amazing experience at Little Herberts! I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. All previous attempts to have my 3 year son’s hair cut were somewhat traumatic and ended up with less than perfect haircuts. I did some research online and I booked him in for an anxious haircut with Kylie at Little Herberts. From the moment we stepped in the door, my son was made so feel so welcome and comfortable. We were greeted by the owner who is so lovely and kind. He was shown some toys he could play with and told he could take on to play with while his hair was cut and given an iPad to watch to keep him entertained. He was able to choose which car he wanted to sit in for his cut which he loved! Then Kylie started cutting and….no tears! He didn’t even seem bothered at all that his hair was being cut and this is hands down the best hair cut he has ever had. Kylie was quick and efficient and made sure my son felt comfortable with what she was doing at all times. I am amazed at how well it all went. My son even told me how fun he had at his “special hairdresser”. Going to Little Herberts was a last resort for us getting his hair cut and honestly, it should have been our first. I can not recommend Little Herberts enough and my son is already looking forward to his next hair cut. Thank you!

My 6.5 year old daughter had never had her long, curly hair cut and she was quite nervous about doing it. I did a bit of looking around and was very drawn to Little Herbert’s online… Best decision to come here! As soon as we walked in, my daughter instantly relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of being pampered. The ladies were so accomodating and lovely, and totally nailed how she wanted it cut. Big fans in this household!! We will be travelling here for every cut from here on in :)

We are so grateful to Anna and Little Herberts for making our toddler's first haircut experience an exciting and memorable one. Our toddler was apprehensive prior to her first haircut, stating she didn't want to go. Anna was so patient and gentle, that our toddler not only tolerated the haircut but very much enjoyed it. While reviewing photos later in the day, she said, "Mommy, I want to go back." As a bonus, Harold Boas Gardens is a very short walk away and a beautiful place to take pictures of a gorgeous hairdo!

Have been taking my son to Little Herberts for the last 4 years. We love the professionalism, the kindness and patience of the hair dressers especially Kylie. My son use to be terrified of cutting his hair. There were a lot of tears in the early days but over time this has changed. He loves getting his hair cut now and also getting a sprinkle of glitter at the end to make it a bit more magical 😁
